Current measurement technology


Our com­pa­ny designs and man­u­fac­tures cur­rent sen­sors for pow­er switch­es, engine con­trol sys­tems, and elec­tric­i­ty meters:


are man­u­fac­tured as ener­gy and sig­nal trans­form­ers. Oval or round tape wound cores are used for the for­mer, while nanocrys­talline toroidal cores are used for sig­nal trans­form­ers. We are an expert not only in the pro­duc­tion of spe­cial appli­ca­tions in small quan­ti­ties, but also in mass pro­duc­tion rang­ing in the mil­lions, such as cur­rent trans­form­ers for domes­tic elec­tric­i­ty meters.

Rogowski COILS

man­u­fac­tured are avail­able as oval and round coils and are used by almost all glob­al­ly rel­e­vant man­u­fac­tur­ers in the pro­duc­tion of pow­er switch­es and cir­cuit break­ers. We spe­cial­ize in the high-pre­ci­sion pro­duc­tion of lin­ear Rogows­ki coils and appli­ca­tions with out­put sig­nals of over 2000V/kA.


As a tech­no­log­i­cal leader on the glob­al mar­ket, we also offer espe­cial­ly small high-pre­ci­sion Rogows­ki coils with the high­est immu­ni­ty to exter­nal fields.

Measurement & energy transformers for circuit breakers (ACB, MCCB)


Our com­pa­ny is a glob­al mar­ket leader in the design and pro­duc­tion of com­plex mea­sur­ing mod­ules for a wide vari­ety of low, medi­um, and high volt­age cir­cuit break­ers.

Mod­ern devices use sep­a­rate pow­er sup­ply sys­tems for elec­tron­ic trip­ping units and to detect load and short-cir­cuit cur­rents. High-pre­ci­sion Rogows­ki coils, which are resis­tant to exter­nal fields, are used for the lat­ter due to their lin­ear­i­ty and large range of mea­sure­ment, while for elec­tron­ic appli­ca­tions we use ener­gy trans­form­ers based on SiFe cores man­u­fac­tured by us. Both coils are installed in com­plex sys­tems con­sist­ing of plas­tic parts, cast­ing com­pounds, join­ing tech­nol­o­gy, and oth­er com­po­nents.

All sys­tems are designed and man­u­fac­tured accord­ing to the customer’s spec­i­fi­ca­tions in order to meet the high­est require­ments and cre­ate the most com­pet­i­tive end prod­ucts pos­si­ble.

By using of state-of-the-art pro­duc­tion tech­nolo­gies in the com­bined wrap­ping and over­mold­ing of coil bob­bins, EGSTON is able to devel­op and pro­duce these com­po­nents in line with the customer’s require­ments and spec­i­fi­ca­tions. They serve as an inter­face between mechan­i­cal and elec­tron­ic com­po­nents and are used as immo­bi­liz­ers that trans­mit sig­nals from mod­ern igni­tion keys to the vehi­cles, as sen­sors that detect indi­vid­ual tire pres­sure lev­els, and as anten­na coils that detect exter­nal vehi­cle guid­ance sig­nals.
